We also represent the City of Sulphur Springs, Texas and the City of Commerce regarding prosecution of their respective Municipal Court dockets. In addition to our extensive personal injury and municipal practice, we handle all aspects of family law and general civil litigation.

Larry Friday is a 1995 graduate of the South Texas College of Law. He began his practice in 1995 with the Houston based personal injury and civil litigation firm of Robert Kennedy and Associates, later named Matthews & Kennedy. Mr. Friday moved to Sulphur Springs in January of 1997, became board certified as a specialist in personal injury in 2002 and now practices exclusively in personal injury, civil litigation and family law.

Brent McQueen

General Job Duties/Fucntions:
Brent McQueen has been employed as an investigator and paralegal with the Friday Law Firm for thirteen years. In this capacity, he conducts investigative functions necessary to ascertain and document liability, damages, and causation. These functions include photographic and video documentation of accident scenes and damaged property, interviewing clients and witnesses, and performance of background and asset investigations. He also performs administrative functions necessary to prepare personal injury cases for settlement. Such functions include obtaining necessary medical and loss wage documentation, analysis of the appropriate settlement authority, preparation of settlement demand packages, settlement negotiations with insurance adjusters and defense attorneys, analysis and resolution of subrogation, medical, and government liens.

After graduating from North Hopkins High School in 1993, Brent attended Panola College on a full debate scholarship. While at Panola, he was the State Phi Rho Pi Lincoln Douglas Debate champion and was a member of the NDT debate team that placed third at the national tournament. He was elected President of the Student Government Association and served as Vice President of the Texas Junior College Student Government Association. Upon completion of the associates degree program at Panola College, Brent continued his education at Texas A&M University at Commerce, where he studied Political Science with a Legal Emphasis. Additionally, he continues his education thru numerous continued education courses related to the adjustment of insurance claims in compliance with the requirements of his insurance adjuster’s license.

Community Involvement and Interests:

Brent served two terms as an elected Trustee on the North Hopkins ISD School Board. He volunteers his time as a youth baseball and basketball coach and is a member of the Northeast Texas Livestock Association. However, his most cherished time is

Toni Hutcherson

Toni Hutcherson has been employed as a paralegal for 20 years and has extensive knowledge and training in family law, personal injury and criminal law. Toni has assisted in over 200 trials including personal injury cases involving 18 wheelers, wrongful death suits, contested family law matters and capital murder trials.

In 1991, after many years in manufacturing, Toni attended Grayson County College in Denison, Texas where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Associate of Applied Science degree with an emphasis on Legal Assistance. Toni won the West Publishing Award for Legal Research in 1993. She has attended many key personnel seminars and had training as a witness/victim coordinator for the State of Texas.

In Toni’s current position as Legal Assistant /Office Manager for The Friday Law Firm she is responsible for document preparation, case fillings, scheduling, research, and trial preparation in personal injury and family law cases. Her office manager duties include accounting, case management, billing and disbursement of funds.

Toni has been married for 25 years and has a large family consisting of both biological and adopted children. She enjoys cooking for family gatherings and spending time with grandchildren.
